Life Lesson?

We had some zip ties lying around and the kids wanted to know what they were.  Chad used Luke as an example. 

And followed it up with this, "Don't get in trouble, this is what they do to you when they take you to jail!."

Hopefully he remembers this when he's older! 

***Please don't report us, he wasn't locked up like this for more than a day or two - and he thought it was funny!***

Brooke's Brawl

Brooke is infatuated with being a girl.  We were walking in a local store and she pointed to the bras and this conversation followed:
B:  Mommy, you have those.
M:  Yep, I do.
B:  Cause you WEAR boobies.
M:  (laughing) Yes, honey I get up every morning and say..."Oh...I think I'll put these on today!"

So, instead of playing dress up and wearing fancy dresses, Brooke says, "Mommy take a picture of me and my brawl!" 

When it comes time to really wear one, I wonder if she'll still be this happy?!?

Grant's Farm

Grant's Farm was an excellent place to visit this summer.  The kids were at the perfect age to enjoy the train:

Not ready to get down and be among the wild goats!

Zach showed no fear and told Brooke how to do it.

Still not ready, notice the feet high in the air!

Hey - this is fun!

Brooke enjoyed it until this one decided he was done with the milk and wanted a shirt to eat!

He quickly got the hang of it and the goats liked his bottle the best!

Ahhh....just too funny!

The weather was perfect, the kids and adults had fun, what a great way to spend the day!
