Is it summer vacation, yet?

Next week this time, another school year will be gone.
And...summer break will have started. Hallelujah

Potty Training in Beginning Stages

Our "potty chair" has been OUT of the box for quite some time and sits in the bathroom upstairs. It has been used as a stool most recently as we look out the window to see Patty and Bill's house! The past two days however, it has seen some activity!!! Brooke decided she had to "Go Poopin'" last night and sat down and actually peed! We were so excited. We talked to Nana and told PaPa Dennis the good news too. Tonight, Luke wanted a try. He sat down and pushed and stressed, turned red in the face, but finally did his business and was rewarded with kisses and phone calls too! An email from Nana today gave me all the "right" days to try potty training according to the farmers almanac, so I guess now is as good a time as any to try it out. I know we have a long road ahead but we have started!

Two Year Old Fun

I decided I absolutely love this age! The three are so much fun right now. They are into exploring everything. They love to repeat what they hear and then ask a million questions, they sometimes repeat the "wrong things"! They fold their hands and pray before lunch and bedtime. They love to "wash hands" after playing outside. They have started fighting and claiming what is "MINE"! They love being read to and yet like to read to themselves too. They are playing with their "pack-packs" and pretending to go to school (which mommy is NOT ready for) or to the store. And of course so much more, but...best of all, they still want to be held and they freely give hugs and kisses...a lot of them too!

Tres Amigos

Nana and Papa spent the last week in Mexico. They got home last night and came to visit us this morning. They brought us some awesome sombreros. We were so excited to wear them today! Nana was thrilled to see us in them (or just thrilled to see us after a week of missing us)! We love you Nana and Papa!!!
