Not only have we been Missing In Action, so has our dear memory card!  It is very hard to update, copy, and save pictures without this:

We found this old memory card and have been filling it with pictures while we continue searching for the original!  (Compliments of Zach pushing it into some small crevice on the computer!)

Easter 2011

This is what the Easter Baskets looked like when we went to bed:

Yay ~ finally some new jammies!  Thank you Easter Bunny!

We went to the sunrise service at church and then headed to Nana and Papa's for brunch.  It was rainy outside and thank goodness that Easter Bunny knew how to get inside Nana and Papa's house to lay some eggs!  When we were finished hunting eggs and eating, we got one picture outside.

 After an early morning and a big breakfast, we headed home for a nap.  Then it was out to Mama and Papa's house where it seemed like Christmas with all the presents!

Baby Lane enjoyed his first Easter Egg:

Until the big kids came up the steps and started hunting.

Luke quickly came to Lane's rescue - he must have been afraid of Lane choking.  He grabbed that blue egg and said, "No, no, Lane, no no!"  Took the blue egg, dropped it in his own bucket and walked off!  Must be something about Easter that makes this kid come alive!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the annual Easter Egg Hunt at our school again this year.  We can armed and ready with our baskets.  Luke was a pro and quickly went to find the loot left behind by the Easter bunny.  Brooke and Zach each enjoyed themselves and found some eggs but they weren't as competitive as Luke - which is ironic since Luke is usually never competitive!

The Real Easter Bunny

Our yard has been filled with "Easter Bunnies" for quite some time now!  The kids were awfully excited to get to meet the true Easter Bunny at Grandma Kruse's house.  - Until they realized just what the Easter Bunny really looks like! 

Luke wasn't shy and eagerly got his picture taken.  It took the other two awhile to warm up and only when Nana and Grandma posed would they get close!

We had hot dogs, chips, and cookies for lunch and even played some games.  It was a nice afternoon for all of us and we're glad that grandma invited us!

Spring has Sprung

Our birthdays are long gone and so is winter - Thank goodness!  It was a hard one. We were going stir crazy with all the cold weather and snow!

To celebrate spring, we decided to enjoy the outdoors by helping daddy fertilize the lawn.

We hopped on the "fo wee-yer" and enjoyed a lap around the yard while mommy made supper.  Little did Luke know that his hand was resting on the throttle and off we went - zooming across the yard.  Mommy said our eyes were as big as saucers - even daddy's!

And....then it snowed again.  :(  With all that snow and fertilizer the yard is going to become a jungle!
